Breaking News: ASUP suspends 10 Months old strike, Polytechnics to resume on tuesday

In what apparently is good news for polytechnic students across the country and a breakthrough for the newly appointed Minister of Education and former Kano State Governor, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau, the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics, ASUP, has suspended its 10-month-old strike. The Minister of Education, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau, has appealed to leadership of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) to call off its 11-month old strike.
